I know that the updates to the Browser Definition Files can be done automatically. What about updates to the component itself?

Due to the mission critical nature of most customer web applications, updates to the BrowserHawk component itself are not performed automatically.
We average a minor version upgrade every couple of months and a major version upgrade once or twice a year. When an update is available it is posted on our web site for download, and registered customers are notified via email.
