Is it possible to detect the service pack of a Browser?

Yes. The ServicePack property returns the service pack information, along with details on what Q patches are also installed if any.
There is also a BrowserBuild property should you wish to know specifics about which particular build the browser is.
Note that both properties require the Enterprise Edition of BrowserHawk, and are available only for IE 5 and later on Windows platforms.
