I'm calling the GetExtPropertiesEx method but after checking the properties they contain their default values. When I use the older GetExtProperties method the values are returned as expected. What could be wrong?

You must be running BrowserHawk 5.0 and later to call the GetExtPropertiesEx method. This method does not exist in previous versions of BrowserHawk.
Unfortunately due to the dynamic property access of BrowserHawk, calling the GetExtPropertiesEx method in versions of BrowserHawk prior to 5.0 will not generate an error, so it is difficult to realize that the method is not supported.
