We're looking for a product that can distinguish between IE 5.0, IE 5.5 and IE 6.0. Can BrowserHawk do this?

Yes, BrowserHawk detects all versions (and variations thereof) of IE, Netscape, Mozilla, Firefox, Safari and Opera browsers (and hundreds of othes) on all platforms. Just create an instance of the object and then check the Browser and Version properties.
