In the documents it details two methods of installing the BRWS. (1) Setting it up on a single server and (2) if multiple web servers are used, setting it up on one server and configuring the other servers to report to the one server.
What if I want to setup each web server to report on its own. This way if any of the servers go down I will still have BRWS functioning. Is there a downside to this?

Setting it up on just one server provides some convenience as far as configuration is concerned, and it can be nice to have this service centralized. In addition, should there ever be an issue with stats not being logged as expected, it can be easier to trace if there is just one BRWS server in use.
However, if you are interested in fault tolerance or eliminating single points of failure, then setting up the BRWS on each server is the best way to go. There is no real downside to this approach and in fact is the best way to load balance the BRWS traffic if you wish (which, however, is very minimal unless you are logging several million records per day).
