Does BrowserHawk work with ColdFusion?

A
|
Yes. If you are using ColdFusion MX you should use the BrowserHawk4J JavaBean (BH4J) version of BrowserHawk and not the ActiveX version. With BH4J you can use the full power of BrowserHawk directly in your ColdFusion MX pages.
If you are using a version of ColdFusion prior to MX, then you must use the ActiveX version of BrowserHawk.
Specific to use with ColdFusion prior to MX, the ActiveX version of BrowserHawk cannot perform extended property checks directly within your CFM pages. Instead you must use a special bridge page. For details please see the cf_examples.zip file found in your BrowserHawk directory after installing the software.
