I am currently using ASP pages but plan to make the transition to ASP.NET soon. Can I start with BrowserHawk ActiveX and then move to the .NET version? Can they both be installed and used at the same time? How about differences in programming each version?

Yes. Both the ActiveX and .NET version of BrowserHawk can coexist on the same server and even be used within the same web site or application at the same time. For example, mypage.aspx could use the .NET version while mypage.asp within the same web site on the same server could use the ActiveX version. This added flexibility makes it very convenient for using the ActiveX version now in your legacy web site, while you develop and test your new code based on .NET.
The BrowserHawk object model and classes are a bit different between the ActiveX and .NET versions. So although the concepts and features of the products are the same, the code you use to perform tests is a bit different. We specifically designed the .NET version with ease of migration to the .NET version in mind, and as a result it takes most developers familiar with the ActiveX version only a few minutes to get up to speed with the .NET version.
There is even a BrowserHawk ActiveX to .NET migration guide available in the documentation and at http://www.cyscape.com/docs/showhelp.asp?topic=About_the_Migrating_from_ActiveX_to_NET_guide which highlights the main differences between BH for ActiveX and .NET.
