BrowserHawk 8.0 is our most significant update in several years. It adds several powerful new features and enhancements, and provides some very important fixes.
Highlights in BrowserHawk 8.0 include:
- Support for IE 6 SP 2 - Versions of BH prior to 8.0 can result in JavaScript errors under IE 6 SP 2 due to changes made to the IE security model
- Detection of blocked popups
- Firefox is now supported, with full extended property checks
- Improved support for Safari
- Detection of installed fonts
- Enhanced plug-in detection, including detection of
Acrobat 6.01+, MediaPlayer 10, and RealPlayer 10
- Dozens of other enhancements and important fixes
