By default, the automated BrowserHawk installation program installs several samples designed to help you learn how to use BrowserHawk, as well as to confirm BrowserHawk is working as expected.
Follow these steps to remove these samples from your machine when no longer needed (keep in mind, however, that these samples are often helpful for troubleshooting):
-
Go to Control Panel->Add/Remove Programs and select BrowserHawk from the list of currently installed programs. Click on the Change button.
-
This will launch the Windows Installer and prompt you whether you want to Modify, Repair, or Remove BrowserHawk. Choose Modify and click the Next button.
-
In the Select Features screen, select the icon next to Samples, and select the "X Entire feature will be unavailable". Then use the Next button a few times to proceed. The BrowserHawk samples are then removed, along with the virtual web site the installer originally created for you to house the samples.
